In this issue of Videofashion Collections, see Andrew Gn’s artfully embellished Spring 2016 collection, partly inspired by a Chinese imperial porcelain bowl that his parents gave to him when he was 15 years old. Barbara Bui blends an Argentinian gaucho inspiration with the ease of a California lifestyle. Designer Axelle Mige blends the couture shapes of the 1950s with the myth of Narcissus for Coppelia Pique. Masha Ma’s rebellious and somewhat unisex collection took shape on the runway with models that she plucked off the streets of London. Plus, Chinese mythology is mixed with the colors of Gustav Klimt for Wang Chen Tsai-Hsia’s Spring 2016 collection for Shiatzy Chen.
