Designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka started their label Badgley Mischka in 1988, and ever since, Hollywood has embraced and championed the glamorous confections they create—gowns imbibed with a feeling of old Hollywood with a modern twist. In 1993, Badgley Mischka joined forces with Escada, a financial boost which took them to the next level as they launched the Badgley Mischka bridal collection, giving every woman the opportunity to have a red carpet moment. The Iconix brand group acquired the company in 2004, and the label subsequently flourished to become a true lifestyle brand. The design duo continues to bring an elegant allure to every aspect of a well-heeled life.
